An interdisciplinary team of distinguished scientists, researchers, educators and artists have contributed substantially over the years to build the profile and mount the products and impact of PRISMA’s work.

Approach

PRISMA adopts an interdisciplinary approach in the conduct of the research and consulting activities it undertakes, making the most of new technologies and methods in the corresponding fields of action, and orientates the results of its worktowards policy making at European, national or local level.

Collaborations

Project assignments come from public bodies in Greece and from the European Commission.

Public bodies include Ministries and central government agencies, as well as local government and regional administration organisations, which have commissioned PRISMA to carry out studies and consulting in the fields of regional and urban planning; local and regional development; evaluation and management of EU-funded Operational Programmes; and organisation and management plans for the public sector.

The European Commission co-finances transnational projects in which PRISMA has the role of coordinator or partner, mainly in the fields of environment, education, culture and tourism.

For the implementation of the projects it undertakes, especially transnational projects, PRISMA collaborates with a wide network of scientific associates as well as consulting companies, universities, public sector organizations and NGOs in Greece and in Europe.
